How resources from development or social programs are allocated within the household is important for welfare. Intra-household resource allocation does not only depend on who receives and allocates resources, but also whether disclosed to other members. In patrilineal societies in rural Tanzania, like one we selected this study, expect disclosure of available have a stronger effect women’s decisions than their husbands’. To test this, use choice experiment with 664 couples Tanzania. Each spouse hypothetical sum money between themselves, spouse, children.
